GOAL and Comm2A Join Forces to Expand Federal Court Action

Gun Owners’ Action League (GOAL) and Commonwealth Second Amendment (Comm2A) are joining forces to expand the federal court action against municipalities that are not complying with the State’s licensing laws. Current Massachusetts law provides for a 40 day turn around for firearm license applications. Many citizens are facing incredibly long wait times to even get a chance to submit their applications and fingerprints. Others, still, are being flat out denied the opportunity to have their applications processed at all. To make matters worse, with the expected COVID surge many more cities and towns have announced they are shutting down entirely or partially.

As a result of this deprivation of rights, GOAL and Comm2A are seeking to add plaintiffs to the existing court action. If you are experiencing delays that are in violation of current law or being told that the application process is being shut down in any way we want to know. Please only contact us if you are willing and able to become a plaintiff in the case. Feel free to contact either organization.
