MassGunOwnership.com was started by local instructor Jim Finnerty to provide affordable, comprehensive, and efficient training for people that have never owned a firearm and are new to the Massachusetts permitting process. The highly-rated 5-hour course, “How To Own a Gun in Massachusetts” combines the excellent NRA Home Firearms Safety curriculum with an overview of Massachusetts Firearms Laws, and a step-by-step explanation of the application and permitting process.
