GOAL's Kerrie Ann Attends Wreath Laying at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier
I had the incredible honor of joining the Second Amendment Institute (SAI) for the wreath-laying ceremony at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier. Being there reminded me of my grandfather's and my father's sacrifices during World War II and Vietnam. Standing in that sacred place, hearing Taps echo through the silence, made my soul cry and swell with pride. It was a profound reminder to celebrate the fallen and honor those brave souls still fighting for our freedoms today.
That evening, I was blessed with the opportunity to speak at the dinner event, introduce myself as a new Board Member of SAI, and share the mission of Gun Owners’ Action League (GOAL) with advocates from across the country. Many had never heard of GOAL before, and it was a critical moment to network and ensure that Massachusetts’ fight against Chapter 135, Act of 2024, is part of the national conversation. Between the solemn wreath ceremony, the meaningful dinner, and the excellent connections that day, it is a great reminder that Massachusetts and GOAL always come with me, no matter where I travel, and our fight is always connected to the larger cause of freedom.
