Warning to the New Hampshire Second Amendment Community!
Scott Brown Turned on the Second Amendment Community When Elected to the U.S. Senate
After thousands of Massachusetts gun owners stood in the snow to support Scott Brown in the 2010 special election for U.S. Senate, we were stabbed in the back. Almost immediately the new Senator was opposing the National Rifle Association’s initiatives for national firearms reciprocity and other Second Amendment civil rights protections. Even the Huffington Post bragged about having a republican that supported gun control.
In Brown’s re-election bid in 2012, Mayor Bloomberg actually held a fundraiser for him at the Mayor’s Manhattan Townhouse!
“The 2A community learned a harsh lesson about Brown,” said Jim Wallace, Executive Director of Gun Owners’ Action League. “After all those people worked through winter weather to get him elected he couldn’t wait to get to Washington D.C. and start making deals for our rights. I wouldn’t support him for dog catcher now!”

"As you know, I support the individual right to keep and bear arms as guaranteed by the Second Amendment to the U.S. Constitution," Brown wrote. "I also believe that individual states should be allowed to decide what constitutes safe and responsible gun ownership so long as it does not violate that basic constitutional right." https://www.huffpost.com/entry/scott-brown-nra-national-rifle-association_n_1080707

As a result, I support a federal assault weapons ban, perhaps like the legislation we have in Massachusetts.” https://www.politico.com/story/2012/12/scott-brown-backs-assault-gun-ban-085348
