Gun Owners Action League is pleased to announce that we will again be hosting the Massachusetts Division of Fisheries and Wildlife's annual waterfowl hearing. This is the third year that GOAL has hosted this event. Two years ago we honored Geof Walker of Newbury, last year it was Phil Hiser of Lee. During this year's event GOAL will be honoring Jim White of Essex.

Jim White is a renowned bird carver who has donated countless works of art to many organizations over the years. Jim will be presented with GOAL's Lifetime of Service Award at the event for all of his work and contributions on behalf of sportsmen throughout the commonwealth. GOAL invites family, friends and the general public to attend and help us honor Jim White. We also encourage those who own any of Jim's carvings to bring them to the event for others to see.

GOAL is also looking for digital photos of Massachusetts waterfowlers to create a slide show for these events. These photos can be from of  hunts, great shots of the marshes, old photos from hunting camps of days gone by, favorite hand carved decoys, hunting dogs, etc. Please send digital photos to jimwallace@goal.org.
